The Social Took Its Retrobution!
April’s Social saw the guys from Gaming Retrobution bring all (literally all) the consoles of our youth with them. Time Crisis delivered us straight back to late-90s arcades whilst Street Fighter II exposed some seriously passive aggressive competitive streaks.
We Love Our Updated AV
We updated the AV in the Event Space at Tower Point. It sounds and looks AMAZING. You could pretty much have a rave in there now (we’re not going to).
Screw It Just Do It
Our Virgin Start-Up saw talks from giffgaff founder Tom Rainsford and City Girl Network founder Pippa Moyle. The theme was ‘screw it just do it!’and saw both telling the story of their lives (so far) in business and how they managed the fiendishly fiddly task of monetizing online business.
Welcome 15 GiftsWe had 15 Gifts moving into Tower Point this month and we’re delighted to say they’ve already made themselves at home. 15 Gifts have built a super (like, super super) smart decision engine that’ll help you buy with confidence and certainty when you’re shopping online.
New Portraits Are A Go
We had photographer, Emma Croman, do a day of portraits for our members. She’s great and got everyone looking their best (especially George Buko, but you will have to ask him VERY nicely to see them as he is quite shy of them it seems!).
Birfday Walkshop For Matt
Front of House fave Matt turned 23 in April and spent the morning of his birthday on a Walkshop. As always, attendance was good and everyone embraced the chance to chat and connect in the great outdoors.
Psst, don't forget...
